Bump Caps
Head protection items protect the user from head collisions that can result in injuries to the head, neck, and spine. When OSHA requires head protection from falling or stationary items, hard hats and helmets are worn, while bump caps protect workers from minor injuries or scrapes caused by walking or bumping against a stationary object. Hard helmets are customized for the job with headlamps, tethers, and chinstraps. Construction and electrical workers, roadside crews, warehouse workers, landscapers, inspectors, and other workers all use head protection.
