Electrical Power Testing

Electrical power testing equipment and supplies ensure that power systems and equipment run consistently and safely while also reducing maintenance downtime. Digital multimeters are great for field service work since they can measure voltage, current, and resistance in circuits, components, wall outlets, and other electrical devices. To diagnose motors or other electrical equipment, clamp meters measure the current draw in a live circuit. To evaluate current leakage and identify faulty or damaged insulation, megohmmeters measure the electrical resistances of insulators such as cable jackets, electrical wires, and motor windings. To help give safe and reliable test results, test leads link electrical testing equipment to the device being examined. To ensure that current flow is correct, high voltage detectors and voltmeters are used to measure and monitor high voltage equipment.
