Confined Space Equipment
In tunnels, tanks, sewers, silos, and other locations with limited entry or departure, confined-space equipment provides ventilation, lowers and lifts employees and equipment, and safeguards access points. Fans and blowers for confined spaces connect to ventilation ducting to circulate air and eliminate pollutants. A tripod frame, lifeline, and other components for raising, lowering, and supporting employees make up confined-space entrance systems. To provide leverage and power for lowering and lifting, confined-space winches mount on tripods, davit arms, or guard rails. Replace worn hoist parts or construct a hoist system to fulfill unique lifting requirements using confined-space hoist frames, masts, bases, and mounts. Venturi blowers for confined spaces keep personnel cool or prevent machinery from overheating. Guard rails around manholes keep people from falling into an open manhole.
