Disposable Gloves

Disposable gloves act as a barrier between your hands and the objects you're handling, keeping your hands clean and safe. They also prevent oils and dirt from spreading from your hands to the objects you're holding or inspecting. To avoid cross contamination, disposable, single-use gloves are used for each job. Thin gloves provide more dexterity and touch sensitivity, while thicker gloves provide more protection for the hands. Cleaning and inspection are two common jobs that require general purpose gloves. To safeguard hands when working in labs or conducting maintenance work, chemical-resistant gloves are tested against one or more chemicals according to EN 374 criteria. To keep places clean, cleanroom gloves have been treated to destroy bacteria and prevent particulate shedding. Food-grade gloves have been approved by the FDA for use in food service and food processing. Medical-grade gloves are less likely to rip and tear than regular disposable gloves and are utilized in patient care.
