Chemical Resistant Gloves
Rubber polymers are used to make general-purpose chemical-resistant gloves that can tolerate exposure to acids, bases, solvents, and other chemicals. When additional risks (such as cuts and heat) are not a concern, they are worn by employees who are exposed to hazardous liquids. Gloves with more protection are often thicker than gloves with less protection. Thinner gloves have a stronger sense of touch than thicker gloves and are less chemical resistant.
