Router Bits
Router bits are used to remove material and produce ornamental edges and other features on a workpiece by rotating them against it. To make a contoured cut, profile router bits are pushed along the outside edge of a workpiece. Plunge and profile cuts in solid workpieces are possible with solid router bits. Router bits are used in a variety of materials, including wood, some metals, polymers, and composites, in woodworking and light industrial applications.
