Farm Duty Motors

Agricultural fan motors, or farm-duty AC motors, have a high starting torque that allows them to start under heavy loads. They are often used for crop drying, running poultry equipment, manure pumps, augers, and conveyors, and provide dependable service in unclean and harsh conditions. Enclosures help protect motors from moisture, but they aren't completely airtight or watertight.
