Welding Gloves

Welding gloves are constructed of leather and other materials and are used to protect employees from flames, heat, and sparks when welding. MIG, TIG, and stick welding gloves all have distinct characteristics to accommodate different welding dangers. TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding produces tiny seams without the need of spatter or sparks, allowing for thinner and more dexterous gloves. MIG (metal inert gas) welding gloves are more dexterous and lighter than stick welding gloves, and they protect against sparks and mild heat burns. Stick welding gloves are thick, heavy-duty gloves with welted seams that protect against sparks and high heat burns.
