Eye Protection and Accessories

Workplace eye injuries can be avoided with the use of eye protection. Eye protection is provided by safety glasses, which shield the eyes from impact injuries and splashes. Eye protection against impact, liquids, and particles is provided by goggles that are snugly fitted to the face. The goggles are held in place by a strap that fits snugly around the head. When both eye and face protection are necessary, eye protection is commonly worn under a face shield.
