Idler Sprockets
Long chains or applications with considerable vibration, such as robotic arms and conveyors, require idler sprockets to pick up slack. For horizontal and vertical applications, roller chains are used. Leaf chains are used to raise heavy objects. Chain links are used to expand the length of a chain or to repair links that have become worn or damaged. The end of a loaf chain is connected to a clevis via clevis connectors.
