Air Nailers

Air-powered nail guns (also known as nailers) use compressed air to drive nails and pins faster, more accurately, and with less effort than manual hammers and staplers. They hold nail strips or coils that feed nails one by one to speed up framing, roofing, cabinetry, and flooring projects. Before the nail is discharged, a safety mechanism demands that the tool's tip be squeezed. Nails having a compatible collation angle, collation type (e.g., glue, paper), head shape, gauge or diameter, length, and style are accepted by these guns (e.g., finishing, brad). Straight-collation nails are used to drive nails square, whereas angled-collation nails are used to drive nails at angles and in corners. To aid prevent operator fatigue during extended usage, air-powered nailers are often lighter than cordless instruments. They also have fewer moving components, which allows them to run cooler and last longer.
