Conveyor Belt Tensioners
Conveyor belt tensioners (also known as take-up units) keep a desired level of tension on a conveyor belt in order to maintain accurate tracking and ensure that the belt follows the appropriate course during conveying. Each side of the conveyor frame has a belt tensioner, and the bearing that supports the conveyor belt pulley is mounted to the tensioner. The tensioner allows you to modify the location of the pulley in order to keep the belt taut as it elongates during operation.
