Ball Transfer Unit
Ball transfers are made up of a ball that is positioned in a housing and rotates in all directions thanks to ball transfer bearings. They're mounted to conveying equipment or fixed surfaces to allow goods to roll smoothly over them. Ball transfers can be used to replace current ball transfers in ball transfer tables, inserts, and stands, or to build a new conveying system. Some ball transfers can also be used in place of casters in some situations. Ball transfers are used in conveyor systems to allow conveyed goods to move in all directions at transition points (entrances, intersections, and exits). In warehousing, package handling, manufacturing, and distribution applications, they help reduce the amount of work required to move the loads.
