Stem Casters

A stem on the top of the caster secures the caster to the bottom of equipment such as carts, office furniture, scaffolds, and racks. The casters allow the equipment to roll, reducing the amount of effort needed to move or reposition it. Stem casters are commonly used to add casters to equipment with tubular frames and legs, where there isn't enough area on the mounting surface to attach a plate caster's mounting plate. In order to attain the caster's full weight capacity, the upper raceway of each caster should be flat against the surface it's being mounted to.
