Sign Ballasts

Sign ballasts supply power to high-output light bulbs seen in both interior and outdoor signs. They can resist chilly temperatures as well as rain and other types of weather. When one of the light bulbs in the circuit fails, the others remain lit, allowing the burnt-out bulb to be detected and replaced promptly. These ballasts are designed to power certain light bulb amounts, types, and lengths. They shield light bulbs from destructive power fluctuations that can degrade the quality of the light they provide. They switch on light bulbs with a burst of high voltage and then regulate the current to the bulbs for as long as they are on.
