HID Capacitors
HID capacitors are built into the ballasts of HID light fixtures to assist keep the lights from flickering. When the ballasts turn on the bulbs, the capacitors store energy and then release it in a burst. They aid to maintain a constant light output by regulating the voltage and current going to the bulbs. HID capacitors must be replaced on a regular basis to guarantee that HID bulbs work at full brightness.
