Nut Drivers

Nut drivers feature a socket attached to a shaft with an attached handle to turn the tool for tightening or loosening nuts and bolts in low-torque applications, comparable to a screwdriver. For a secure fit, these manual tools contain sockets that fit around and grasp the entire head of the fastener. They make greater contact with the fastener head than an open-end wrench, making the socket less likely to slip off as the nut driver is spun. The hollow shaft of a nut driver allows a threaded bolt to pass through, allowing the tool to turn fasteners on lengthy threaded bolts. They're employed in low-torque applications like appliance repair and electronics.
