Pipe

Black malleable iron, also known as uncoated black steel, is constructed of corrosion-resistant ungalvanized steel with a scaly, dark-colored iron oxide coating on the surface. To convey gas and water, protect electrical wiring, or provide high-pressure steam and air, uncoated black steel pipe connects with fittings. Pipe lengths longer than 12" and nipple lengths of 12" and shorter are available in uncoated black steel and iron.
