Rivets

Rivets are used to attach hard and soft materials together permanently. Only one side of a part or structure is used to insert blind rivets in a junction. Push-in rivets have ribbed or expanded shanks that hold them in place without the use of any equipment. Solid rivets are hammered or pressed into place. They expand to lock pieces together securely. Rivet tools are used to secure compatible rivets.
