Wire Connectors

Wire connectors are used to connect wires to equipment, connect two sections of wire, and quickly disengage wires. Straight splices are made with butt splice connectors. Electrical pigtailing and two-way splicing are done with C-tap compression connections. Screw-type connectors can be readily connected and disconnected using fork terminals. Lug compression connectors link wires to circuits by sliding onto the ends of the wires. Electric motors may be swapped out without bolting or taping wires thanks to motor lead disconnects. Wires are connected to terminal blocks using pin terminals. Ring terminals use a bolt or screw that runs through the ring to fasten wires to equipment. When attaching the ends of two pieces of copper wire, split bolt connectors have a bolt and a nut that forms a solid connection. Wire splices are insulated with two-way compression connectors while maintaining high connectivity. Wire disconnects make it easy to remove wires from equipment.
