Fuses

Overcurrent protection is provided by fuses, fuse kits, and accessories in electrical installations and equipment. When subjected to an overcurrent, fuses open a circuit to protect wiring and equipment. Fuse kits come with a variety of fuses to match new installations or replace blown fuses. When fuses are attached to an electrical circuit, fuse blocks, holders, and covers keep them safe and secure. To place fuses in fuse blocks and holders, fuse reducers and clips are utilized. When removing installed fuses, fuse pullers protect against electrical shock and assist prevent fuse breakage.
