Soldering Irons Guns and Pots
Soldering guns and irons are tools for melting solder wire and applying it to metal objects and surfaces. Soldering guns have a grip with a heat-activation trigger. Components like cable lugs and heavy-gauge wire are commonly utilized with them. They heat up and cool down faster than soldering irons and operate at higher temperatures. Soldering irons are lighter than guns and have a wand design, making them easier to handle. Where extreme heat could damage adjacent materials, small soldering irons are typically used for circuit board and electronics soldering. For heavy-duty soldering work in industrial environments, large soldering irons feature a high heat output.
