Hard Hats
Hard hats and helmets shield the wearer from head-impact risks. They have a suspension mechanism that helps to alleviate strain on the head, neck, and spine by moving the impact force through the body to the feet. These hard hats and helmets are OSHA-compliant and ANSI-rated. The impact type (vertical alone or vertical and angled) and amount of electrical protection (none, low voltage, or high voltage) are indicated by the combination of types and classes. Hard hats and helmets should be evaluated for structural integrity on a regular basis. Construction workers, road crews, and OSHA safety standards all require the usage of hard hats.
