Glove Box Gloves
Workers can handle sensitive goods within the box with glove box gloves (also known as dry box gloves). Gloves are permanently mounted in the box, and workers enter the box with their hands in the gloves. They have large-diameter cuffs to suit the glove box apertures and extend past the shoulder to allow workers to reach all sections of the box. Thicker gloves give better protection and have a longer lifespan than thinner gloves, although they are less tactile. When handling sensitive or dangerous materials in a laboratory or research setting, glove boxes are employed.
