Cut-Resistant Gloves
Handling metal, glass, and other sharp things can result in lacerations and punctures. Cut-resistant gloves protect against these injuries. Knit gloves are more breathable than leather gloves since they are constructed of woven fibers. Gloves for mechanics and riggers are more formfitting than other glove styles. To boost cut resistance, leather gloves feature a lining or cut-resistant stitching. Leather is naturally abrasion-resistant and protects against heat and sparks when used improperly. Chainmail gloves are formed of metal mesh and are worn underneath disposable gloves to defend against the dangers of wielding blades.
