Fire Hoses
Fire hoses are widely used to transport water to stop a fire from spreading and to extinguish the flames. Fire hoses are used to transport water from a fire pump to a fire. Fire hoses on the supply line transport enormous amounts of water from a hydrant or other pressurized source to a fire pump, where it is then delivered to an assault hose. Small fires are best tackled using booster fire hoses. Pin rack and reel fire hoses are widely installed in buildings to give fire hoses to the building's residents in the event of a fire. Wildland fire hoses are intended for use in firefighting situations when hoses must be transported long distances across steep or uneven terrain to reach a fire.
