Confined Space Entry Systems
Workers can use restricted space entry and retrieval products to enter, exit, and rescue from confined areas such as tanks and tunnels. A confined space is a working environment with limited or restricted entry and exit points and temporary systems. Components necessary to enter a space or rescue a worker from a confined place are included in access systems. Winches assist in the lifting and lowering of workers as well as the retrieval of handicapped workers. Self-retracting integrated-rescue lifelines attach to a worker's fall harness and contain grips or other mechanisms to retrieve a disabled or fallen worker.
