Submersible Sump Pumps
Submersible sump pumps are submersible sump pumps that drain water from basement sump pits while operating entirely submerged at the sump pit's bottom. In comparison to upright/pedestal sump pumps, which have motors above the sump pit, they are immersed in water to cool the pump motors so they may work longer without overheating. Submersible pumps are powered by electricity and consist of a pump body and a pump motor in one unit. They have a switch that activates the pump motor when the water level in the sump pit increases to a specified level, then stops it when the water level drops.
