Metal Fabrication Machines

Metal fabrication machines are used to form or cut metal parts. Flat sheets, angles, bars, and tubes are folded or creased by brakes and bending machines. On flat sheets and plates, as well as bars and tubes, rolling machines make curves, rolls, beads, and other profile shapes. Sheet metal, struts, rods, and bars are all cut with neat edges by shearing machines. Sheet metal, pipes, and tubes are notched or punched using notching and punching machines. Shaping machines are often used to form and polish domed workpieces because they smooth, curve, and stretch sheet metal. Multiple stations on ironworkers and combination machines allow them to execute multiple metal-forming activities with a single equipment.
