Hole Saw Kits

A variety of hole saw diameters, as well as an arbor and pilot bit, are included in metal-cutting hole saw kits. Hole saws have a cutting rim and a hollow core that allows them to remove material while leaving the core intact. This allows you to drill larger holes faster with a handheld power drill than you could with a drill bit. The arbor secures the hole saw in the drill and holds the pilot bit. When the hole saw starts cutting, the pilot bit prevents it from walking or moving.
