Drum Mixers
Drum mixers combine the contents of drums, tanks, IBC totes, and other containers to achieve a consistent mix. These agitators mix liquids while also suspending or dissolving particles in them. They have a long mixing shaft that extends into containers and turns propellers to mix items. They are also known as bung- or lid-mount mixers. The shaft size, motor type, propeller design, and rotation speed of a drum mixer influence how much material can be mixed, how rapidly it can mix, and whether it can mix thin or thick liquids. The more propellers a mixer has, the faster and more thoroughly it mixes.
