Fire Pump Motors

Fire extinguisher Pumps in fire sprinkler systems are driven by AC motors. They have an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure with ventilation ports in the end shields and shell positioned so that liquid drops falling less than 15 degrees from vertical have no effect on motor performance.
