First Aid Tweezers and Forceps
Tweezers and forceps for first-aid use feature thin ends for grabbing things that are too small or difficult to grasp with fingers. They're also used to prevent infection by avoiding skin-to-skin contact when changing dressings or bandages, as well as removing splinters, insect stingers, pebbles, and other foreign things from the skin. Tweezers are also used in grooming duties to remove undesirable hair. In surgical procedures, specialized forceps are used to clamp blood arteries and handle tissue.
