Hand Trucks

Hand trucks for general use are upright wheeled carts that allow one person to handle large or heavy items like boxes, crates, bins, equipment, and raw materials. Hand trucks, also known as dollies, hand trollies, or stack trucks, have a nose plate that holds a load and a vertical frame that keeps the load from falling off while the trucks move. The trucks are tilted back and balanced on their wheels so they may be rolled from one area to another, and the nose plate slips beneath the load or the cargo is stacked onto the nose plate.
