Hydraulic Chucks
Hydraulic chucks have a completed bore that receives a cutting tool and a straight or tapered shank that connects to the spindle of a milling or drilling machine. In high-speed, precision machining operations, they are used to handle drills, reamers, mills, and grinding tools. To establish a solid, homogeneous grip on cutting tools, these chucks utilise pressurized fluid within the chuck body. They provide a strong gripping force, precise centering, and great balancing at high speeds, allowing tools to achieve higher finishes and more precise cuts than when held in ordinary collets or milling chucks.
