Specialty Micrometers

Specialty micrometers are used for a variety of tasks, including determining the inside and outer dimensions of tube thickness, gear teeth, fastener pitch diameter, and sheet metal thickness. Standard vernier or digital displays are found on specialty micrometers, but the size, shape, and alignment of the jaw, spindle, and anvil differ.
