Cartridge Air Filters
Cartridge air filters contain a strong frame and metal dividers that assist them maintain their shape in challenging operating situations including fluctuating air volume, turbulent airflow, recurrent fan shutdown, high temperatures or humidity, or intermittent exposure to water. To capture contaminants in the air stream, they are widely placed in HVAC systems in office buildings, data centers, healthcare and hospitality facilities, museums, schools, and other areas where electronics are handled. This reduces the accumulation of pollutants in the equipment and enhances indoor air quality. The MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) rating of these filters ranges from 11 to 14. The MERV rating of a filter determines how well it removes impurities from the air stream depending on the particle sizes it can successfully catch. The MERV rating of a filter indicates how well it catches tiny particles. The greater the MERV rating, the better.
