Micrometer Torque Wrenches
Micrometer torque wrenches can be programmed to apply a precise torque (force) to a fastener (such as a nut or bolt) so that it is not damaged or loosens over time owing to undertorquing. The torque wrench's handle is rotated to set the appropriate torque value (much like a micrometer). The torque wrench is attached to the appropriately sized socket, which is then put on the fastener. An audible click will indicate that the desired torque has been obtained as the wrench is spun.
