Linemans Pliers
In instances where insulated or non-sparking pliers aren't required, general purpose lineman's pliers cut, pull, and twist wire and cable. They also compress links and collars, bend or straighten sheet metal, remove staples and fasteners, and bend or straighten sheet metal. They have a gripping zone near the tip of the jaws and side cutters above the hinge, and are sometimes known as combination pliers. Their tapered head reams pipe ends to smooth the inside lip and remove burs.
