Safety Utility Knives

When the cut is finished, the blade of a safety utility knife retracts or covers itself, protecting the user from injury. Only one corner of the blade is visible at a time, allowing the blade to be flipped to a new cutting edge when the original one becomes dull. Pull cuts are made using utility knives that have short, disposable blades attached to the handle. They cut cardboard, plastic sheeting, card stock, wire, and other materials, as well as score drywall and insulation.
