Building Wire

Electrical current is carried via building wire and cable from a power supply to a device in the building, such as an outlet or light fixture. Conduit, cable trays, and raceways are commonly used to run building wire. Multiple strands of wire are bundled inside a thermoplastic or metal sheath to form building cable. Building wire and cable are commonly utilized in commercial, industrial, and residential properties to run new circuits or extend existing circuits inside walls and ceilings.
