Disinfectants and Sanitizers
To prevent germs from spreading, disinfectants and sanitizers lower the quantity of germs on hard, nonporous surfaces. Before employing disinfectants or sanitizers, clean surfaces with cleaners that remove dirt and other impurities. Disinfectants are antimicrobial compounds that kill or kill the majority of pathogens and disease-causing germs on cleaned surfaces, reducing the chance of infection spreading. Sanitizers are antimicrobial agents that kill bacteria and viruses on a cleansed surface but do not totally destroy or remove them. Hospitals, schools, office buildings, restaurants, and hotels all utilize disinfectants and sanitizers.
